My boycotts over a company are very informal because I evaluate buying a game on a case by case basis. If a company that has disappointed me in the past really surprises me with a good product then I will consider purchasing that product. I usually also do not buy into the annual "AAA game" thing (I usually buy one or two from the franchises I enjoy the most and stick with them for the entire gen) or the games that advertise their budget more than the gameplay (I know that much of that budget is going to go to huge marketing campaigns to justify the huge financial risk, and I hypothesize the campaigns and hype will most likely cause reviewers to overrate the game). Thus, I do not consider myself a sheep, but there are probably factors that I am not aware of or choose to ignore affecting my purchasing behaviour; so I might be a sheep.
