Hmm, well, If you are looking around $1000sh, then I suggest this one:

It has an i7 + Nvidia 840M gpu + 24gb ssd for ur OS + 6gb of ram + 1TB HDD which should be good for gaming! The res is only 1366 x 768 but that only means that ur gpu has to work less and granted 1080p does generally look nicer but for $1000, its a fairly good deal imo.

i7 + 850M + 750gb HDD + 8gb of ram which is pretty good since its about the same price as the first one, you lose ssd + 250gb but you gain better cpu, ram and gpu

i7 + 860M + 8gb of ram + 1080p IPS display + red backlit keyboard + 750gb HDD! This one doesn't include a ssd interestingly enough but it does offer quite a nice experience with the superior keyboard and display as well as a better GPU
