hmm.. I think shipping 18 million PS4s by years end would be great achivement, much more seems pretty unlikely to me unless this holiday sees a serious raise in excitement for the new consoles


Considering PS4 shipped 13'5m until last quarter, and the fact Wii shipped around 7m last quarter of 2007 back then, to me, at least that same number is a real possibility for PS4. I expect around 4-5m XBO shipped this quarter too, a very good number for Microsoft.

It's just I'm being brave and I'm predicting even more sales for PS4 than Wii back then. I could be perfectly wrong but just 4-5m shipped last quarter for PS4 in 2014 like you said would be really disappointing... 

In conclusion, If XBO ships around 11-12m before 2015, PS4 should ship more than 18m....
