Well yeah no wonder, playing football games on the keyboard is physically impossible and I think most PC gamers don't have controllers. However, I doubt Konami will ever step it up on the licensing department. EA is just a much bigger company and they sell more games, they have the budget and the deals already in place.

Yeah, even when FIFA was fucking shit and PES was great, sales were about even. For example, 4.4m for PES 2007 vs. 4.1m for FIFA 2007, on PS2. PES had the edge, but barely. However, that situation is still better than he massacre we have now.

EA can just bully its way to the top because they have the means. But if PES surpassed FIFA in gameplay again, it will help its sales immensely.
