Do you have any numbers to back this up?
It seems to have been a thing to say this since early November or something (so far as we know early all weeks of October were largely dominated by PS4 sales) ... we are only 10 days in November... and there is only 1 XB1 bundle above the PS4 on the Amazone hourly top sellers... So it may be outselling the PS4, in the US, but we don't know by how much and as you point out, we certainly don't know if this would be a long therm thing, it certainly is local to the US, because even the Canadian store does not have the XB1 as a top selling item.
I would be surprised if the XB1 kept this pace for a long time, and I would be even more surprised if Sony did not do anything to counter it.
