Sony letting the X1 back into the game in the US could mean 10M more sales for the X1 there and 10M less for the PS4. WW win is easy and a given for Sony but in the US what I just said could be big in the long run. It could be the diff between MS going another round in the console business or not. 

"Could" is the key word here.  Sony has the luxury of sitting back and seeing the effects of this massive push.  They will react, but not until they know the full picture.
