you're off an order of magnitude.

developer's priorities aren't my priorities,. i care about the product i'm paying for.   this was already a priority B game for me so if it comes in anything less than 1080p and another game i'm interested in is 1080p my likelyhood of skipping this game increases dramatically.

oh god you are one of those people that think the ps4 and xbo gpu's are drastically different.  Ignorance if anyone thinks a 1.84 tflops over 1.31 tflops = 50% better graphics. albeit easy to achieve.

Not buying a game because its not 1080p is dispicable. Ryse looks better than /almost/ every game on console and its only 900p.

PS4 IS a lot stronger.

If the tflops you gave are correct so it's 40% more on PS4.

Also, 1080p is 44% better than 900p.

And the fact here is that they are probably HOLDING the PS4 version down, not don't wanting to work more on it to look/be better.

The time they spent working with both being the same would make the PS4 be that much better, but with parity in mind they will just srop working with the PS4 version before they should so it will not look better than the XBO version, and that is just not ok, unless they mean they are putting more work on the XBO version to make it look as good as the PS4 version, but that's less probable.

No, it is not 40% better, it has 40% more theoretical power.  That does not translate to 40% better graphics.  Programming the detail in the map, the things that matter, not resolution, takes time.  The PS4 can look better but why bother wasting time.  PC gets neglected by big name devs significantly and constantly.  The PS4 and XBO difference is much lower.

You guys could make a case for 60fps over 30fps, but for some reason the fight is always over resolution.
