| LudicrousSpeed said: Of course not. Or even last gen with the PS3 being a pain in the ass to develop for. How much extra time did those games require developers to spend on and how much was sacrificed for that time? Who knows. Hell it even affected this gen with Titanfall. But you don't have to go back that far, just look at this thread. PS4 PS4 PS4. The game is coming to PC as well, and the quote says "parity across all platforms". If anyone should be up in arms it should be PC gamers. But they don't care about their PS4 holding PC gaming back. It's hilarious, it's almost as if some people think the PS4 would be pushing 4k at 240fps if not for the Xbox One holding it back. They are both weak consoles. The Xbox One is slightly weaker. It's not some huge difference. It seems some have trouble accepting this and would rather instead latch onto conspiracies about MS paying developers or developers holding back out of the kindness of their hearts. |
Why can't they both be pissed? It's not particularly surprising that the majority of posts here are in reference to PS4. There's an awful lot more PS gamers than PC on VGC.
This isn't the 7th gen where the stronger console is by far the most complicated of its generation. The PS4 is the stronger, and in the majority of situations, the easier to work with. This means the only standard ways of arriving at parity are intentionally gimping the PS4 version, or simply cutting development time from it. Developers have a right to do both of those things, it's their game after all. Doesn't mean gamers don't also have the right to be thoroughly pissed off.
As I've explained to you before, your perception of the world is not the overruling bases from which all people should view the world. Just because you don't think [x] or [y] is important, doesn't mean it isn't to others. As you say, you seem to be having trouble accepting that.
