OR

A company that makes a bad PC version on purpose so the consoles dont look underpowered compared to a PC  just makes the last gen version subpar on purpose (even tho they could make it better) so the current gen version looks better in comparison.

You know, PC guys sometimes are really paranoid. Maybe aliens are involved in this plot too.

The game is simply badly optimized. Look at InFAMOUS SS. It looks better than any openworld game on PC or console, and it is 1080p@40fps. But I get the idea: game runs bad on PC because it's badly optimized. If it runs bad on console it's because console is underpowered. It doesn't make sense, specially when you factor in that Unity doesn't even look that good compared to other next gen titles.

What the hell are you talking about lol? Let me clarify what I ment. "A company that makes WatchDogs subpar on PC can also make Assassisn Creed on last gen worse than it could have been so PS4 and XBO look better in comparison". So in theory the big improvements can also be artificial not only because of power.

Next time try to re-ead and if you are not sure what I ment just ask me please. (but I agree that my comment can be confusing if you dont know about Ubisoft and Watchdogs PC)

off topic
Little psychology lesson: (because I am bored)

Dont go the "maybe aliens are involved too" route. Why? Because this is what people usually say when they want to hide something. (Dont get me wrong I am not talking about you)

if someone "investigator/conspiracy theorist" has a hot scent and is going to bust someone who hides something/the truth etc. then the guy that is going to be busted uses something the "conspiracy theorists" said and then adds crap like aliens to it so that the thing the "conspiracy theorist" actually said looks ridiculous because a potential audience automatically connects it with aliens. (or nazis or whatever)  Someone in straits always tries to move the attention/spotlight/focus away from oneself.

This is working because people most of the time remember the last thing they heard the best. (thats why in competitions the one being the last always has an advantage)

Another example of this behavior is when  there is a group of lets say 5 people. 1 feels unconfortable for whatever reason (maybe the group talks about sex and the above mentioned guy  is the only one who never had sex) To distract from this and his insecurity he starts to downplay another person like "I bet X never had sex because he is fat"  or something like that.
