Sony Looking To Include Microsoft’s DRM ‘PlayReady’ In PS4

Before Windows 7 was released, Microsoft and Sony partnered on Blu-Ray and DRM technology.  The licensing agreement permitted Microsoft to develop it's own non-Java compatible Blu-Ray play technology, while Sony was allowed to use Microsoft's DRM technology.

My guess is that the PS4 has used PlayReady DRM all along, but in its most basic form.  What Sony might be preparing to do is offer more extensive features similar to what Microsoft was originally going to do with the Xbox One.
