What do you mean by that? A game is considered dead when it hasn't had a game in a long time. For example, Viva Piñata, F-Zero, and Jak & Daxter are considered dead franchises.

They could with the proper execution. But they are still dead. Perfect Dark on the other hand, is a lesson. If you want to reboot a game, take time, and don't make the development for 3 consoles.
