It is a touch on the long side. I changed the head from a wider head type to a longer. Obviously elongated it a bit to much.

Caricatures don't just come in form of simple sketches. Lord no, what gave you that idea? While yours isn't a gross caricature, it skews that way, but the problem is general blandness of the whole drawing. Like I said, something you'd get made on a pier or a seaside promenade. |
"A caricature is a rendered image showing the features of its subject in a simplified or exaggerated way."
There is a big difference between a traditional picture and a caricature. Caricatures more often than not are simple. Are there very detailed caractures sure. But that doesnt make them the norm because they certainly are not.
"Beside the political and public-figure satire, most contemporary caricatures are used as gifts or souvenirs, often drawn by street vendors. For a small fee, a caricature can be drawn specifically (and quickly) for a patron. These are popular at street fairs, carnivals, and even weddings, often with humorous results."
Now chuck in the pier comment which undoubtedly means amateur in nature (also very simple). I dont see the correlation between my picture (not simplfied or exaggerated) and caricature.
Obviously you can think however you would like thats your opinion and that fine. Feel free to elaborate on the blandness and how uninteresting the colors are also.
