Seeing as how Donkey Kong Country and Pikmin 3 aren't likely to sniff 2 million, I would say I doubt it. But we'll see. 

We'll see if it catches on with kids or not. 

If it was Mario Paintball then yeah I could see it selling 2 million. 

Mario Paintball wouldn't push Wii U sales a lot more than Splatoon would. Splatoon has the possiblity to be another major IP from Nintendo that attracts serious gamers like us. This hasn't happened since Xenoblade.
