I'm making this comment without reading anything in the thread yet...
I love love love Final Fantasy games.
I played my first Xenoblade game last December, obviously it was Xenoblade Chronicles. I was SHOCKED at how insanely huge the world was - not for a Wii game but for any game I've played on any platform. At times it was intimidating. Nothing I've played in the Final Fantasy series has come close in terms of the size of the world (I haven't played the MMO XI/XIV).
Dont underestimate the Wii U's hardware. I'm scared to think how big they'll make this game for no other reason then I will never be able to play another game again.
