Most black people act the same way as they are portrayed in games. Not only that but most of the black people i know have sold drugs, played basketball and talked street, i guess thats what its called. The other black people i have known fit other typical black stereotypes, one is a larger lady who loves that southern food and a guy who came to this country when he was about 17 from Africa, and he still likes to wear those robes, he is in his 50's now.

I am serious, I'm sure not all black people fit the type of people i listed but those have been the black people i have known. Where i went to Highschool there were only about a dozen black people out of about 1400 and all them sold drugs/did drugs, and acted the typical black street person. When i went to JR high, there were alot more black people and this was how it was. This is just how it was where i grew up and where i live now. I'm not being racist if this is what people think, i'm far from it. The city i live in has more people useing drugs per population then just about any other place in the country. Thekitchensink guy goes to college in the same town as i live, ask him. I'm sure he will of have seen what i'm talking about. |
Listen, every group of people have members who fit a stereotype. After all, that's how stereotypes are often formed (though not always). You're basing an opinion that sounds as if you want the stereotype to back it up. Chances are you're missing many things those people around you are doing that don't fit that stereotype in the slightest bit, instead focusing solely on those things that do. And, hate to break it to you, but that's racism. |
Maybe i'm not the best at explaining my point as that seems to be what is happening here. I know not all black people fit the drug/street image of the black people i listed. That was just most of the black people i knew, i also knew alot of what poeple that have sold drugs, i for one did it before. The man i knew who came over from Africa went on to University, he has 5 kids, 3 of which are in University and the other two are still in high school. None of which fit the street image which i listed before.
