Yes, yes it is. Talking to someone who had actually heard of it today, "it's just a monster hunter clone isn't it?"
Why does every one seem to think any Action RPG from Japan now is a Monster Hunter clone? Hell, people even call Phantasy Star Online a "Mon Hun" game even though it came out in 2000 and is nothing of the sort.
It's practically like calling any game with guns a Halo clone.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
