People claiming PS3 is dead in Japan are forgetting it hit numbers this low and lower last year before bouncing back, it'll jump again with big releases, holidays, price cuts and new models.
The lack of JRPGs is a big reason why it's not doing better, more of them will hit this year and next.
I'm sure MGS 4 and WKS will create bumps when they hit, FF XIII next year is definitely the biggest system seller for the PS3 in Japan, if it's cheaper and slimmer by then it'll help too. The strange thing is almost all the big PS3 exclusives for the year are western focused. Sony is focusing more on the west than the homeland now, weird.
