 the fact that it's easier for newbie to get into doesn't mean it's not a hardcore games. SSBB in my opinion is a hardcore game too that features newbie friendly content. But the in-depth-ness (lack of better word) is what seperate the hardcore games from quick cash-ins.

What the hell does review score have to do with it being casual or hardcore?  Guess we will have to agree to disagree since rock band is a casual game in my book.
