Personally, I prefer the DMC games. Even though 2 and reboot were disasters, DMC1 and 3 were masterpieces, and none of the GoW games really stuck out to me as anything more than button mashers

DMC4's setting was bad sure, DmC's art design is unbelievable.

You're certainly welcome to your own opinions; DMC4's far from a perfect game, but I definitely preferred it to the reboot, which really felt like little more than a dumbing down of the series' mechanics and a pretentious story trying way too hard to be taken seriously.
