Lolll, wow... So much for working with every game huh? Mean while, steam's family sharing continues to work on virtually every game...

But it does work with every game, but only if the publisher chooses to allow it. You can't force these things on publishers.

Yeah.  It works with every game by default.  It's just the developer can code it in to not allow share play to work.

Pretty scummy move though if you ask me.  They allow people to play co op with a friend, so in order to save gas money going to a friends house, why can't we just use share play?

Doesn't share play allow anyone on your friends list to play your games? That's a significant difference from local co-op.

You have to specifically invite them to play.  They can't do it without any input from you, and your system has to stay on during that time.  It's also only for 60 minutes, so you have to reinvite them to play after that time has ended.  It's limitless in how many times it can be done, but it will require continuous action from the owner of the game.
