Price/value edge is a fairly easy argument in favor of the XBO, although that still depends upon the software and services preferences of the consumer.

Plenty of people paid $500 for an XBO last year even though the PS4 was $100 less, even if said buyers wanted little or nothing to do with Kinect. They still paid the premium because they wanted to play on XBL or they wanted the upcoming MS Studios exclusives tied to the Xbox brand.

Doesn't change the fact that a consumer can buy more than one XBO bundle for $350 this season, bundled with a game they would likely buy as a part of their initial purchase anyway, giving it an effective $100 price advantage over a PS4 bundle.

Whether price alone is enough to make consumers choose one platform over the other one year later remains to be seen.

It does strike as me being odd that the price advantage, which disappears with Kinect bundles was used along with Kinect as a reason for buying an XBO though. Either you save the $100 with a Kinect free bundle, or you spend $450 for a Kinect SKU. You can't buy an XBO for both reasons.

At any rate, there are a lot more than 5 reasons to buy an XBO this season. I'd argue that the best reason would be if one already has a PS4, they're a heavy gamer who buys multiple consoles and they want to pick up a great deal on an XBO only one year on the market.
