Share Play is basically just bringing split screen gaminging to the internet. It is revolutionary in the fact that you no longer have to have a friend waste 15 to 20 minutes driving to your place, just to play for a half hour. This makes multiplayer gameing massivly more conveinent, and allows for many short gameplay sessions that were just not possible if travel time had to be included.

Additionally, games like Madden, WWE, MLB The Show, NBA 2K, UFC, and any other title with a local multiplayer, now only require one copy for people at two seperate locations. This means you no longer have to skip out on playing current games with friends that are not as into any given game as you are. That feature is a massive selling point, that will bring a lot more play to publishers titles, and in turn should keep people buying DCL, since they can still have a social experience with the game even though their friend does not own a copy.

On top of those two great scenrios, you will also have the ability to play through local co-op games, with only one copy. Again, this is massive, as now friends on the fence, or people willing to play a game, but not willing to spend the cash, can still play it if a friend has a copy.

So just think about how many times, you wanted to play a local multiplayer game with a friend, but have not had the time to run over to their place. Or you bought the latest yearly release, but your friend still own last years version, so you have no one on your friends list to play competitive multiplayer with. How many time have you been super hot on a game, but non of your friends were willing to put cash down for it? Share Play solves all of those issues. IMO, that is amound the top 5 gaming features ever created.

interesting contribution from you. :)

and how do you like it now?
