1. That hardcore gamers and developers actually open their minds up to some fucking change rather than shunning ANYTHING that deviates from the norm (Wii/PS Move/Kinect, asymetric gameplay, the cloud, touch screens, etc.)
2. That people stop praising better graphics, more things on screen, and stuff like that as "innovation"
3. That developers and publishers get better with development, PR, and marketing; this is a long one.
- No more announcing announcements (The Sony Dec. event comes to mind)
- Quit preempively leaking games (looking at you EA) and then getting upset when people aren't as excited as they should be
- Stop nickling and diming consumers (plenty of offenders last gen)
- Stop wasting money in the development process (Crytek, Team Ico, among many others)
- Quit acting like you know the market when you clearly don't (Satoru Iwata)
- I like that M$ buys exclusive content, but the parity clause has to go.
- Stop releasing broken games (BF3, 4, several CoDs, the 360, and MANY others)
