Ouch when you put it that way then PSnow doesn't sound so bad anymore. I can see what sony basically did. They just took the one week rental price of $5/week and added the cost/convenience of streaming and made it $8.
Whatever the case though, if they want the service to pick up, they have to cut their prices down.
If i were them, I would make every game available for rental 12-18 months after release and at $2.99/week. Do that for the first 3 years then when I get a following and proper market presence, I would hike the price up to $5/ week.
