Having said that, I really don't understand publishers. They of all people should know that after a year on the market full, half or even a quarter price sales of their games practically becomes non existent. They should at least be willing to drop the price of their games to as little as $20 after a year. Kinda a no brainer one would think. Unless they just like their games sitting ons shelves or in the bargain bin.

Agreed. PS Now should be the same price, or less, as renting the physical game from your local video rental store. Though here a 7 day rental for a new release game would be quite expensive, and most video stores only rent new releases for a day at $5 or $7, or 3 days for $10. Older games normally rent for $5 for a week.
