Actually banning them permanently seems excessive imo. Find a middle ground or it's 'The Evil Empire Strikes Again'. No way M$ should be refunding the entire cost because someone feels lied to. Bungie and Acti got a big slice, even ddl has costs and there was a damn beta. Couldn't they form some idea of the initial $60 offering?
I'm a digital buyer. Slightly disappointed but I'm still way over 200 hours. There is something disturbingly addictive about this framework or template of a full game.
