You're forgetting that anyone who doesn't have an adequate amount of bandwidth would have sliding scale performance, if cloud assistance were anything serious. Already saw a complete shitstorm over the efficacy of PlayShare, imagine the insanity if those with poor bandwidth were getting the short end of the stick for games they actually pay for.
