It was during our meeting with Philippe Cardon, President of PlayStation France at the Paris Games Week, we learned that the problems of Driveclub  were not related to servers, but a programming error game .

If the launch of online games, they require a permanent connection or not, sometimes flops, problems are often resolved in a few days time to give them a larger number of servers ... but it does is not the case Driveclub . Why?

We posed the question directly to Philippe Cardon , President of PlayStation France, who has said that he was not simply be a number of problems (or capacity) of servers, but rather a beautiful mistake programming the game, which would be attributable to Evolution Studios ...

I really apologize to all the players who have difficulty connecting. (...) We actually connection problems, ie, in fact, in the programming of the game, there was an error that prevents us from welcoming enough players at the same time . This is the "same time" is most important.

All this is being reprogrammed, but it takes much longer than simply add 1000, 2000 or 3000 servers, if it was not a problem server.

Interesting ... but it does not give us a release date for the magic patch that will resolve the situation and finally allow online play stably and especially enjoy the challenges ...

This is more than a patch, it is truly programming and how the network can accommodate a number of sessions. I do not know when all this will be resolved.Every day that passes can accommodate more players, but we are not yet at maximum capacity that would ela.(...) Unfortunately, I can not give a date, because I have not, but everything is done to make it quickly. Yes it's long, it's not normal, and I apologize.
