And yet again, you are failing to explain why, even if you believe popularity is the root cause, this thread should not exist? As the thread is just talking about a fact that is happening right now.

I didn't say popularity was the root cause, you did, I merely used what you said and asked why this thread's ok?  PS4's more popular, that's just a fact.  You can create whatever goalposts you want (forgetting that the PS4's servers are separate from the PS3's), but those are the facts.  You also seem unable to read that this exploit is in fact resulting in zero personal information being released, but, that's ok.  Tachi and other's have already illustrated those points.
