Many of the people who are ok with it, didn't buy it for it's social aspects or MP aspects, they bought it for the SP, the point to point tracks etc... That is certainly not all of the people who bought it, and nobody's white washing that this should've been fixed pre-launch, I've said it myself numerous times. However, the game is far from unplayable (like, let's say, Skyrim PS3 was for most people, and yet still got 10/10, and few (if any) score adjustments were made).
Remember, not many people even cared about the PS4/XB1's social features pre-launch, there are still a chunk of gamer's out there who simply like SP games (I'm one of them). Again though, it doesn't excuse this problem, and if anything, I sincerely hope that in the DC post-mortum, Evolution is transparent about where exactly this went wrong. Full disclosure would be best, in my opinion.
That having been said, they've been pretty vocal about their progress, and everytime they release an update it comes with some kind of word from them. The only thing I'm bothered with now, is the lack of comment on the PS+ version. Granted, it makes sense to me that they'd hold off on it until they've fixed the issues (as does the idea that they could turn off the social aspects/MP aspects of the PS+ version and release it), but, that it makes sense to me, doesn't mean they shouldn't have a comment on it nearly a month after the free version was supposed to launch.
