I have no idea what you are talking about... The thread is about PSN being hacked again... Not the PS4 and its popularity.

And my point was about the non-sense this guy posted about Windows XP being infected 10 seconds after a fresh installation while connected to any network.

You should know what I'm talking about, you pointed out that Windows being the most popular OS, naturally leads to the most attempts at finding exploits.  Which is absolutely true, because the bulk of personal data would be stored therein.  The easy parallel is that the Ps4 is currently the market leader in next-gen, therefore will have more scrutiny :D

You do realize that Xbox Live / PSN are not exclusifs to PS4/Xbox One (aka next gen consoles), right?
And even if you do not realize that, which is fine. The thread is not about how much something got hacked based on popularity but just the fact the PSN got hacked again...

and you just ignored the point he just made to frame the argument the way this entire thread was meant to do. in a round about way..

"why you should really reconsider"

supporting sony and buy into Microsofts eco system because with their net work its aleast secure.

thats what the direction of social engineering is applied, not outside what many did with to social engineer people to buy the ps4 over the xboxone.

but to imply thats not what has been going on over sony net work to be shown in negative light while pointing out the benefits of microsofts xboxlive with the xboxone or all last generation with the xbox360 and xboxlive and ps3 and its psn being vulnerable to hacks.

its the same crap. but trying to imply its not is just amusing. atleast be upfront about it.
