Not directly related but a fun point non the less.

Windows XP is now so atrociously exploited that the combined number of compromised machines on the planet ensure that a windows XP machine on a fresh install will contract a virus or malware within 10 seconds of the network being connected, with no input or actions taken by the user to achieve this.

There's just that many malware/spyware/virus ridden machines constantly throwing out their junky tentacles in to the web that WinXP without a good firewall is like waving a bagel at a flock of hungry seaguls.

Dude... I know it is cool to say something like that but I hope you realize how wrong this is... Stop saying random non-sense stuffs like that to try to prove your point. Maybe you read something like that on a forum or somewhere else but it does not make it real. And I hope you do not really know computers, network and how a virus or malware spread and what weakness is used to "spread" to make that kind of comment.

By the way, Windows being the most used operating system, there is nothing sensationnal about the fact that it will get more virus, malwares etc... than any other operating system. Mac OS reprensents what? Like 4% of the marketshare and they are starting to get some nasty virus/malwares... There is NO system without security holes or less secure in general. It is simply a matter of which one if the most popular so people will spend WAY more time trying to find those holes and completly ignore the other ones.

Only exception to that I would say is Android vs iOS (which is way safer), but it is not because Android/Google sucks it is more a design choice to give more flexibility to the OS.

So what you're saying is this thread shouldn't have been made, because the PS4 is the most popular next-gen right now?  :D

I have no idea what you are talking about... The thread is about PSN being hacked again... Not the PS4 and its popularity.

And my point was about the non-sense this guy posted about Windows XP being infected 10 seconds after a fresh installation while connected to any network.
