How was Neptunia?  Is it better than Trinity Universe?

I've not played Trinity Universe, but I enjoyed Neptunia very much.  Not as good as the Atelier games, but not far off.

That's sounds really good! I remember the original Neptunia getting very negative reviews, but ReBirth seems to be a huge improvement.
