This is just general consumer mentality.  People want to buy the "best" product.  By saying "I bought PS4 because it is " people infer "I did not buy because they are inferior products to the 'best' product."

Bottom line though is that people will buy what they think is best for them.  

 

I also agree that the Zune/iPod and PS4/XB1 analogy is silly.  The premise works, but the actual support for parallels is way off.

that is 100% true.
but it does not equally mean if u dont buy the "not the best product for urself", you automatically think its inferior overall
