I'll tell you what: I bought a Wii U day one, started feeling ripped off early. Game and Wario was a real ripoff, the first time i felt like that about a Nintendo first party game. It sucked and what's more I think the people who put it out knew it sucked when they put it out. I expected something as awesome as WarioWare Smooth Moves, and got something that simply took up space on my drive.

Mario 3D World came out and it sucked in multiplayer. It is pretty good in single player, but it was hailed like the best Mario game since SMB 3 by the press and it just wasn't as compelling as it was made to sound.

DKC:TF came out and I HATED it. It just didn't feel like a DKC game to me. The controls didn't feel right. I don't like this game.

MK8 was great. Hyrule Warriors is fun. I'm enjoying these. I feel like my purchase was worth it now, because I know I will love Smash Bros and Yoshi looks like a good two player game for simple sessions. A few more things will probably be good. I'm okay with my day one purchase now.

But I mean... three or four games in a year? This is silly. Nintendo are struggling to develop for this thing. It's languishing in sales, being IGNORED by third parties almost completely. It doesn't have MINECRAFT, which I'm sorry 'livers-in-the-past,' IS the game kids today want to play.

Read this again:

MINECRAFT NOW IS AS POPULAR AS MARIO WHEN WE WERE KIDS.

Look at the clothes, books, costumes, etc. in stores next time you go. If you don't understand that, saying 'Wii U is best for children because the other consoles don't care about kids,' but you don't understand that the NUMBER ONE GAME KIDS CARE ABOUT IS ONLY ON THE OTHER SYSTEMS, maybe you shouldn't be so surprised people don't agree with you.

Acknowledging that the Wii U's performance in the marketplace is an embarrassment to Nintendo and absolutely not what they expected, that they can't handle development in HD and they are struggling to release enough games, does not make playing the games that are out on Wii U any less fun. If you can't admit that it's sucking at what Nintendo expected it to do in the marketplace, that's too bad. But don't make it everybody else's problem.
