I haven't played much lately, but I've tried the Beyond Earth demo (although just 1 game) and the difference with Civ V are noticeable, specially with the aliens which are far more agressive. Either that or I had bad luck with my game, something that I'll find out whenever I game a bit more.

Besides that, it's been all Titan Quest, which I'm kind of stuck due to not being strong enough to defeat a boss, but I'm working on it.

Well it's not exactly the same of course, there are some tweaks, and new additions to the formula. But it still feels a bit like an old fasioned standalone expansion pack rather than a fully new game in it's own right. Not necesserily a bad thing tho, I actually enjoy playing it more than I did Civ V. That my partly be I just prefer the setting, but I do think that some of the changes to unit upgrades and the tech tree are welcome additions. But it does feel very similar to Civ V. If they flesh it out with a big DLC expansion like Brave New World for Civ V, with a bit more content and veriaty it could be amazing.

As for Titan Quest, have you spent any time with Grim Dawn? It's the new game some of the Titan Quest team are making. It's still in beta at the moment, but it's shaping up quite nicely so far.

@Beyond Earth: As I said, I've only played 1 game in the 100 turns limited demo so my impressions will vary once I spent more time with it and I get used to the new menus and such.

@Grim Dawn: I didn't know about the game! I actually looked for more games from Iron Lore but Titan Quest was their only game . I'll look for more info about the game, thanks!

Please excuse my bad English.
