Which video game series have left the biggest legacies? How have they?

No God of War, No Halo, No Uncharted, No Sonic, etc. They're far from having the legacy the ones I mentioned have.

Pokemon, Street Fighter, Castlevania... They come to mind as well. But I guess they don't have as much legacy and history.

Metal gear solid. funny you forgot about that franchises, but that is probably because you don't like it, or haven't been a fan longer then 5 years.. i am just guessing ofc.. but Metal gear is a legacy as well.
