Nah not buying it. AC4 sold about 2.6 million with essentially no instal base and a delayed launch from ps360. This game has everything going for it. I say 5 million fw, 9 million this year, 11 million + lifetime

Attach ratios at launch mean nothing. Ofcourse people are going to buy a few games with a new system, out of a very limited selection. Plus there were the trade in incentives, get the next-gen version for $10.

I think the openworld sailing and next-gen hype staved off the franchise fatigue for AC for 1 more year. It won't get anywhere near AC3 numbers. AC3 had lots of hype, and disappointment afterwards.
