I have a pair of friends who recently bought PS3s for BD movies. Given, they're extremely technical people and between them own only a single PS3 game (with almost no interest for buying more anytime soon). The one who owns a 360 is debating getting GTA4 for the 360 vs getting it for the PS3 -- he considers the PS3's graphics relatively flat with fewer lighting effects than most 360 games. And he noticed that the multiplatform games he played (such as Burnout) had more slowdown in the PS3 version. However, he's dealt with two RRODs, and he doesn't want to deal with MS again unless he has to.
He'll probably wait for reviews, but I sense that he's leaning toward the PS3 version.
