Is that why the people who owned Wii's aren't buying Wii U's? And why the Wii U is selling worse than the Gamecube, which is regarded even by Nintendo as a failure? 

How is it regarded by NIntendo as a failure? Because it's a console with a diffrent direction that once again developers are afraid to make games for? I think this year is showing that it will be successful when games are availible. THIS HOLIDAY WILL PROVE IT.  

So more common sense for you. It is almost certain the 18-22 demographic lose interest in NINTENDO because of the whole "being to kiddie" perception. I went through it when I bought my PSOne. But once that perception wears off people will see it s a myth perception. They are the ONLY console that gives two shits about the kids. Reason why it wil dominate this holiday.
