I agree with everything except the nothing can save it part. The Wii U is crucial to nintendo's future they need to start advertizing the hell out of it to push it because it needs to cater to a demographic that isn't strictly nintendo which is why #4 makes sense. Wii U needs to continue to be pushed so that it can create momentum for nintendo's next launch. Nintendo also needs to work with more japanese developers so that they not only have a good launch for their next console but they also streamline the amount of games they have coming to it.
The garage is a great 1st step towards that.
