You'll have to wait a bit longer for Disgaea 4 director's new PS Vita game.

Makai Shin Trillion, Compile Heart’s upcoming PS Vita RPG from the director of Disgaea 4, has been delayed from its planned 2014 release in Japan to 2015, this week’s Dengeki PlayStation reveals.

It will cost 6,800 yen when it launches.

An interview in the magazine shares new details:

  • Battles are a mixture of roguelikes and simulation RPGs.
  • The timing for when Trillion (the enemy, not the game) will strike is known in advance, meaning players have to focus on raising characters with that deadline in mind.
  • Battling Trillion is less about killing him outright, but more so about ensuring the fight is carried on in later bouts and eventually finished, similar to the Oreshika series.
  • The timing for Trillion’s appearance will change depending on the amount of damage dealt to him in battle.
