I disagree with the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings being cons against Truman. The use of the atom bombs was necessary to avoid a prolonged Japanese campaign that would've taken more lives. It's also worth noting that Truman refused using more bombs at Korea even though he was advised to do so.
