So, I just finished up with Neptunia Rebirth.
Absolutely miles better than I was expecting, especially given the hate Compile Heart seem to get. It was an incredibly enjoyable - if slightly repetitive - JRPG that I would recommend to anyone.
Slightly below the Atelier games for me (but that's very high praise given how much I love them) but incredibly solid - battle mechanics were good; exploring the world was fun; stat building was great; story was enjoyable (if a little silly) and soundtrack was good. I'm genuinely really impressed, and will be pre-ordering Rebirth 2 as soon as Shopto have it listed for release.
