Isn't that a bit like going off on a rant about why Whirlpool shouldn't make a video game console?  Yeah we know it'd be silly but it isn't going to happen.

Whirlpool owns Maytag... They also manufacture the Sears and Ikea kitchen/dryer/washer appliances... and they own KitchenAid. They've basically conquered the kitchen and laundry rooms, so its perfectly normal for them to make their entrance into the living room!!
