If it's not fixed before the holidays, and it probably won't because all those consoled are already built, Sony will have an even better holiday sale^^

Also it doesn't necessarily going to help to fix this hole. As described in this article, the purpose of this exploit is to get more information about the system. Information that could lead to future hacks no matter if this one hole is fixed. For the PS3 all it took was information about the generation of specific keys that could then be replicated tosign external code for the machine to run.
