The Wii was retro the moment people found out motion tracking games were shit.

That's interesting. So the PS3, 360, and XB1 are also retro then.

Quick question, does Dualshock 4 have Sixaxis?

In some way maybe, but what I meant was the following. Many people were hyped to hell for the ''new technology''. It seemed really awesome at first, but then people found out that just moving your wrist was enough to get a massive swing at Wii sport's tennis game. Then they realised motion controlls weren't what they hoped they would be. Don't get me wrong, I own a Wii, but I feel that at that point the Wii became a (semi) retro console.

As for 360 and PS3, the motion technology hasn't influenced those machines too much. It did influence the 360's successor and sure Kinect ruined a lot of childhood dreams with games like Kinect Star Wars, but the console itself was still the 360 of before Kinect launched. Even more so with the PS3. I don't think move was near as successfull (in sales) as Kinect and that's probably a good thing.

As for Xbox One it's hard to say at this point, since I haven't seen many Kinect based games, but the Kinect brand could be associated with the word retro, just not in a good way.

Edit: On your sixaxis question, I think it has. For example shaking the controller when the torch battery is nearly empty in TLoU. I think PS4 has this too, but I don't own one, so I could be really wrong right now.
