People don't care about quality, they only care about replayability.
I however buy a game as long as I consider it to be of high quality. In fact I think linear games are generally better than open-world games.

In most cases, a quality game does have some type of replayability
Iike i personally wouldn't immediately play a Final Fantasy game again right after i've beat it. I would have to give it some time. As long as i can EVENTUALLY go back to a game, it has replay value.
Actually, i can't even really think of a a game i thought was good that didn't have some type of replay value.

If you consider playing through games a second or third time as replayability then yeah quality linear games are highly replayable. I did that with all GOW games.
But for most people replayabilty means having so much content that they aren't done playing through all that the game has to offer. So that is the reason why linear games do not sell well anymore if they don't have a multiplayer mode as well.

Yea all that collectible shit doesn't mean a damn thing to me if the game is wack.
Like Imo Uncharted 2 has replayability. I played through that a couple times. I only attempted to collect shit because i was able to play it again. Like i really have to enjoy myself while playing a game for me to consider it worth my time. With that being said, I enjoyed myself while playing Uncharted 2 lol.
Hmm.. I think i might actually need to make a thread about this.
