Uncharted is cool.
Ratchet & Clank is great.
I like Warhawk a lot, but it may not be your type of game.
Heavenly Sword is definitely worth a rental or buying used for $20 or so (only an 8 hour game)--every ps3 owner should at least play it though.
Devil May Cry 4 is wicked fun too.
