I guess since I download almost all of my games, this has never been an issue for me. My first game was Dead Rising 3 on disc, and it took a long time, mostly because I had to download the large update before the game was installing.

What MS should do in order to clarify these install times, is actually let the user know when it's installing versus when it's downloading an update. If you go to play the MCC and you have that 20GB update or whatever, it's all going to look like one big long install time when actually it downloads the update first.

DR3 also lets you start playing rather quickly during installation, so that alleviated the issue quite a bit.

You can play while downloading this 20GB MCC patch. So it is not a bad wait... you will be finished before ends the first campaign in the disc.

BTW patch is another thing I don't understand... 360 have an amazing good patch system, years ahead PS3 but this gem PS3 has the best patch system... I don't remember any patch over 4GB (that it is already too big) on PS4 while Xbonehave 13GB, 16GB, 20GB, etc.

The 4GB patch on PS4 was Battlefield 4 because the Sony patch system had a issue that all patches were cumulative... so the first patch was 600MB the the second will be 600MB + the size of the second patch... but that was improved and now each patch have it own size, way smaller than cumulative.
